This Thursday, April 2nd, 2009, The Black Lips will be joining forces with Deerhunter and Barreracudas for a benefit concert at 529 in East Atlanta. All proceeds will go to Bobby Ubangi (of the Gaye Blades and the Soft Spots) who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Doors open at 9pm and the event is 21+.
